At Rosie’s Pizzeria, we believe that strong communities are built when we invest in the growth and success of our children. The Rosie’s Readers program was created to support and encourage young learners at The Lions Tribe Academy and South School Elementary, helping them develop lifelong reading habits through positive motivation and consistent recognition.
How the Program Works
Each month, students are given the opportunity to achieve a reading goal set by their teacher. As they work toward these goals, they build confidence, learn discipline, and strengthen important skills that support their academic success.
When a student meets their monthly reading target, they’re rewarded with a free personal pizza, courtesy of Rosie’s Pizzeria. It’s our small way of celebrating their hard work and showing them that dedication pays off.
Our Commitment
Rosie’s Readers is fully funded by Rosie’s Pizzeria. We provide all prizes, materials, and incentives at no cost to the school, teachers, or families. This program reflects our dedication to:
• Supporting local education
• Encouraging healthy reading habits
• Recognizing student accomplishments
• Giving back to the community that continues to support us
Why We Believe in This Program
Reading opens doors. It helps children explore new ideas, strengthen their imagination, and gain the skills they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond. By pairing academic achievement with a fun reward, we aim to make reading exciting and meaningful.
A Community Effort
Rosie’s Pizzeria is proud to partner with teachers and staff, whose commitment to student growth makes this program possible. Together, we’re encouraging goal-setting, celebrating progress, and building a tradition students look forward to each month.
